Great food and a great atmosphere. This restaurant over looks the lake and the food is excellent.
My husband and I recently visited Blue Lake Tavern for the first time after hearing a lot of good things about it. We were disappointed. It was cozy, and had a beautiful view...but we probably won't return. They weren't terribly busy, lots of people were ordering drinks only. We ordered burgers without buns, and the wait was over 30 minutes, and the burgers were tiny. We paid almost $30 for 2 tiny bunless patties, and 2 small sides of mixed veggies. There was a man yelling about how he had waited for his check for nearly an hour. Waitresses were disorganized and I heard one get snippy with a customer. The view was the only thing I enjoyed about the place.

Beautiful lodge ambiance. Stunning overlook of Blue Lake. I haven't met the chef....but they are truly talented. Try the prime rib...or the onion rings! I have never been disappointed with any dish I chose. Great date night spot! Classic bar with savvy bartenders. Check it out! Fire in the Hole! Rod
